Cut from a fine, midweight wool twill by Lanificio di Tollegno, the Wool Trousers are a loose fit three-season trouser with tailored details, made for daily wear. This iconic garment completes our trouser range, and takes the 50th and last slot in the permanent collection.
Contemporary tailoring
Single front pleats with sharp ironed creases, a tailored waistband with hidden hook and button, slanted side pockets and welted back pockets, and a half lined interior.
100% Merino wool twill
Tollegno 1900 yarn (Nm 2/68 Weft: Nm 1/48) and a 290g/mtl midweight twill with mechanical stretch by Lanificio di Tollegno. Made from 100% extra fine 19,5 micron merino wool, RWS certified and mulesing free.
Italian milling
Yarns spun and dyed by Filatura Tollegno 1900 and woven by Lanificio di Tollegno — two branches of the historic Tollegno mill in Biella, with over a century of wool expertise.
Portuguese tailoring
Cut and sewn by Pinha Mansa, a specialist tailoring facility in northern Portugal renowned for its precise craftsmanship, modern machinery and respect for people and planet.
Inspiration
In 2019, while visiting Tollegno 1900 — the Italian wool mill that spins our Merino yarn — we explored their century-old archive. Among hundreds of historic garments and fabrics, we found a section of woven fabrics from the early 20th century.
The craftsmanship, structures, and enduring relevance of those pieces stayed with us and planted the seed for what would become our last product: The Wool Trousers.
The Last Product
Every garment in our permanent collection exists for a reason — carefully chosen for its enduring relevance and everyday utility. Over ten years, we’ve refined a range of 49 essential pieces. The Wool Trousers are the 50th.
Inspired by a time when garments were made to last, it fills the final gap: a tailored, three-season trouser to complete the wardrobe system. Built for the colder seasons — made to outlast them.
