Working with our decade-long shirting partner Somelos, we're able to create a fully European linen fabric. Cultivated in France, the flax fiber is spun in Lithuania, before weaving and finishing at Somelos' facilities in Northern Portugal. From there the fabric travels less than an hour to our specialized shirt factory, Mundicorte, for cutting and sewing.

Detailed care instructions
- Make sure that all of the shirt’s buttons are undone when washing, including collars and cuffs. If not, the button holes can become stretched and buttons come loose.
- Wash inside out to preserve color.
- Wash with similar colors to prevent color bleeding.
- Wash on low cycle to prevent creases and wrinkling.
- Give the garment a good shake after wash and a light pull to the sleeves, plackets and side seams after wash to retain shape.
- Hang dry to reduce wrinkles.
- Spray the shirt with water before ironing to make it easier to remove creases.
- Shirts are one of the few garments we actually recommend to keep on hangers in your wardrobe. Preferably on wide wooden hangers instead of wire hangers as they result in less stress on the fabric and seams which makes your shirt last longer.
- Button the shirt all the way up to maintain the shape when storing it.
- Avoid storing and drying in direct sunlight to prevent colour changes, sunlight also makes the cotton fibers weaker.
- In case you lose a button, don't hesitate to contact us at care@asket.com and we'll send you a new one.
How to take care of linen
Linen is a wonderful natural material that grows with a minimal impact on our planet. Linen clothing is often associated with summer, much due to the exceptional coolness and freshness the fabric is able to maintain in hot and humid weather. The linen fiber is very strong, but garments made out of linen still need proper care. This is a general guide of how to care for linen garments, helping you make them look better and last longer.
Garment take back and resale
To extend the life of our product, we take back any unwanted Asket garments - no matter their condition or age. In exchange, you'll receive a reward voucher based on the type(s) of garments you return. Your sent in garments will be handled for resale at our Bondegatan Restore location.
