The impact receipt

The fashion industry produces over 100 billion garments, per year.

Depleting irrevocable natural resources. Dicharging pollution into our air, land and waters. It's accountable for 10% of global greenhouse gases.

By 2030, it's projected to grow another 50%.

It's time we put a price on our planet's resources. We envision a future where we’re no longer left in the dark - overwhelmed by choices, decisions and their potential consequences - but instead empowered to understand and keep track of the mark we make.

Buy less. Know your impact. Join The Pursuit Of Less.

The Impact Receipt

The Impact Receipt is a breakdown of the environmental costs and impact of every Asket order. It is sent via email alongside your regular order receipt and details the CO2e emissions, water and energy consumption of producing every garment purchased, along with the emissions of your packaging and shipping choice. By showing you the resources that have been extracted, transformed and the CO2 emitted to make your garments possible, we want to help you keep track of your consumption-based footprint.

The impact of 1 Asket T-Shirt

Amount of water needed:

27m³

Enough to keep an adult human hydrated for 30 years.

Measured according to AWARE, relative water consumption based on scarcity in production locations - not absolute water consumption.

Amount of energy consumed:

32,7 kWh

Enough to power a LED light bulb for 151 days.

Measured as total upstream energy consumption, scope 1,2 and 3.

Amount of CO₂ emitted:

5.8 kg

0.3% of the 2,3t target quota. The same as eating 2 cheese burgers - or 30 vegan salads.

Measured as cradle to gate CO₂ equivalent, excluding cutomer shipping, use phase and end of life impact.
