Detailed care instructions
- Wash in laundry bag.
- Wash inside out to preserve color.
- Wash with similar colors to prevent color bleeding.
- To avoid creases, wash on low cycle and give the garment a careful shake after wash.
- Reshape after wash.
- Hang dry to remove wrinkles and reduce the need for ironing.
- Store your t-shirts folded and lying flat in your wardrobe. Hangers can stretch out the fibers and cause hanger-bumps.
- If you insist on hanging your t-shirts, use a wide hanger that supports the shoulders and avoid hanging it by the neck label.
- Don’t forget to insert the hangers from the bottom of the t-shirts to avoid unnecessary stretching of the collar.
- Avoid storing and drying in direct sunlight to prevent color changes, sunlight also makes the fibers weaker.
- To avoid stains in the armpit, go easy on the deodorant and make sure that you use aluminium-free or low-aluminum deodorant or antiperspirant.
How to take care of lyocell
Lyocell is a 100% biodegradable cellulosic fiber crafted from wood pulp derived from responsibly harvested FSC-certified wood pulp. It can be rendered in different textures, but the fabric is widely known for its superior breathability, silk-like softness, lustrous sheen, and durability. Manufactured by the Austria-based fiber supplier Lenzing AG under the trademark TENCEL™, our fibers are fully traceable and produced in a closed circuit where more than 99% of the water and solvents are recovered and reused. While lyocell is generally easy to care for, there are a few things you need to keep in mind in order to enjoy your garments for as long as possible.
Garment take back and resale
To extend the life of our product, we take back any unwanted Asket garments - no matter their condition or age. In exchange, you'll receive a reward voucher based on the type(s) of garments you return. Your sent in garments will be handled for resale at our Bondegatan Restore location.
