For our lyocell shirt we source 100% Tencel™ lyocell, provided by 100% LENZING™, using FSC and PEFC certified wood sources that are TÜV certified for compostability and biodegradeability. The fabric is milled in Spain, and the shirt cut and sewn in Portugal.

For every garment, we not only disclose the full supply chain, but also its monetary and resource cost structure along with the resulting CO2e emissions. Impact is calculated in kg of climate change CO₂ equivalent. Figures refer to garment production (raw material to finished garment) and exclude post-purchase lifecycle stages (shipping, use phase, end of life).

Detailed care instructions
- Wash in laundry bag.
- Make sure that all of the shirt’s buttons are undone when washing, including collars and cuffs. If not, the buttonholes can become stretched and buttons come loose.
- Wash inside out to preserve color and to maintain the surface of the buttons.
- Wash with similar colors to prevent color bleeding.
- Wash on a low cycle to prevent creases and wrinkling.
- Give the garment a good shake after wash and a light pull in the sleeves, plackets and side seams after wash to remove creases.
- Hang dry to reduce wrinkles.
- Spray the shirt with water before ironing/steaming to make it easier to remove creases.

How to take care of lyocell
Lyocell is a 100% biodegradable cellulosic fiber crafted from wood pulp derived from responsibly harvested FSC-certified wood pulp. It can be rendered in different textures, but the fabric is widely known for its superior breathability, silk-like softness, lustrous sheen, and durability. Manufactured by the Austria-based fiber supplier Lenzing AG under the trademark TENCEL™, our fibers are fully traceable and produced in a closed circuit where more than 99% of the water and solvents are recovered and reused. While lyocell is generally easy to care for, there are a few things you need to keep in mind in order to enjoy your garments for as long as possible.

To extend the life of our product, we take back any unwanted Asket garments - no matter their condition or age. In exchange, you'll receive a reward voucher based on the type(s) of garments you return. Your sent in garments will be handled for resale at our Bondegatan Restore location.
